The world did not end

Ok, those that were hopeful that the world would end and were deferring Christmas Shopping or avoiding to pay off some of the bills and some of those that partied while the world ended... The Good/Bad news is that the world did not end, we still have a tomorrow to look forward to, christmas presents to buy and bills to pay and Apps to make using Gideros.
The good news is that because the world did not end and my book is scheduled on the 26th, the day after Christmas (as it got postponed)

- All astronomical events happen in UT (Universal Time which is actually the same as GMT)
- As @techdoto points out, the Mayans will have worked their calendar out in Mayan time which is at least 5 hours behind GMT

And yes, @Scouser is right, I might have to wait for the Mayan TimeZone or the US Time Zone... Atleast I had a good meal, got myself some good stuff and had a good day,let's see how it goes tomorrow after the Mayan TimeZone...

The ratio of Sheep per person is higher in New Zealand (43 million sheep, 4.1 million people, ~11 per person) than Australia (110 million sheep, 21 million people, approx 6 per person) must be due to the fact that we have two dogs and no sheep and so do our neighbours and a lot of people in the town

NZ is a lovely place no doubt, after all All of the LOTR/Hobbit movies are shot there, Xena, Hercules, etc are shot there. While we enjoy our beaches, barbies (BBQ not the dolls from Mattel) and beer, we also know that we are the champions be it Cricket or Rugby League. In fact the match at Dairy Farmers Stadium where NZ lost to Australia was played within 2 Kms from my house.
