I've just found out an interesting issue (maybe everybody knew it before)
According to Gideros example about tile map, to load tilemap data:
local map = require("desert") |
if using several tilemaps, memory is increased after "require" even if we set map to nil (map = nil). To unload data completely, uses:
map = nil
package.loaded["desert"] = nil |
