I noticed the Gideros documentation says to install JDK 7 to build for Android, however, several websites are saying that Android does not support JDK 7, e.g.:

The folks at Corona are adamant that: "Android does not support JDK 7. Android only supports the 32-bit version of JDK 6. That is where that limitation comes from."

So, which version of Java should I install? Is Gideros compatible with JDK 6? I've already got 6 installed and would like to stick to that one!

On the page about installing Java it mentions Java 7 JDK.
