  It is possible, I am using gideros made interface now, to control a washing machine with an iPad2

  I recollect an app from an American university (this was before the first iPad, on an iPhone 3) the app rather gave complete information about free washing machines in various buildings including if they were out of order and the stage they were at. So you could go to the building that actually had free machines of were about to finish their cycle.

  @OZApps, it is for a prototype washing machine but not an industrial one. I am working on a project for a white appliances company here in Turkey and that is part of it.
