if it is an indexed array, then you can use table.remove function to remove an element and reorder indexes
If it is an assoc array, simply t[key] = nil is enough to remove element

i = i does not seem to be correct, you need to rename the iterator
but all in all if i = 1, it will be indexed array, if not then assoc
