  @franMX as I understand you want to create multiple different versions of same project?
  For that purpose usually a versioning system as SVN or Git is used.

  hello, maybe I'm missing something in ide, or probably this is done by design. Is there "save as" somewhere?
  
  Currently I'm learning and the only way I've found is:
  a) commenting out lines, which isn't that bad
  b) duplicating project in my operating system, and continue my work.

  I just want to say that I completely agree with @franMX. "Save as..." is crucial to the way I work. It is included in every other creative application on my computer (and every creative application I have ever used in the history of computing), and using it is second nature for me. Please, please, please @Atilim, put it in, if possible. I was really shocked the first time I tried to "Save as..." with Gideros (Studio) and I still cannot get used to it.

  @platypus/@franMX, do you use a Mac? If you do then you must consider looking at ForeverSave reviewed here http://reviewme.oz-apps.com/2011/04/ever-required-version-control.html
  
  it works seamlessly in the background creating a backup (versioning) everytime you save, so you can revert back to a version as you want.
  
  Hope that can resolve your issue till then. If you use windows, I am not aware of a tool that does that.

  I just copy and paste the whole project folder and rename it to a new version, but agree that it would be nice to be able to do this from inside the IDE using 'save as'.

  i think 'save as' is not so imporant btw, give a try to git etc solutions, when i started to do some more thorough hobby programming recently, using gideros, i started to use tortoisegit with bitbucket and i think that it is a much more intelligent solution. it took me 1-2 days to get a grasp of it, but now i think it is much better than having many copies of the same project on my harddrive. less space, better organization, etc.
