This would make me soo happy. I always want to use my animating app fragmenter in-house, where it would not matter much if it is precompiled or not, the only thing is that i need to use it on pc (or perhaps mac), but full-screen is a must as i want to project it. of course i did not give up the hope that windows export comes in a realistic time-distance. The quite interesting Longford project shows that this may not be that complicated, I hope it will motivate @atilim to finish windows export as soon as he can.
@SinisterSoft, do you want the emulator to SCALE the images to full screen or create a new context/device with the new full screen screen resolution?Currently you can stretch the emulator window to be full screen and cover all things but the little stamp in the middle is dependent on the resolution you set.
Now imagine your project changing resolutions and you not knowing what strange resolution that is. If you mean there should be the ability to zoom for projection, that is different (on a mac you can try to enlarge the screen, not change resolution)
As @OZApps says fullscreen with monitor resolution change will actually be one of the problems we will need to tackle when making Desktop export.
@keszegh before making such assumption, you can first try asking how much time did it take to make Longford
But yes if I will be able to complete implementing new SoundEngine while @atilim is away, desktop should be the next major priority after their return from USA.
I think that Media class with full desktop support and desktop support for Controller plugin and other plugins show that (otherwise why would we waste resources on making plugins compatible with desktops).
We just don't want to rush announcing it officially, because we don't know what trip to USA may bring and how it could change the situation
@ar2rsawseen, of course i'm teasing you (and atilim) with Longford, but indeed it's a considerable achievement, which must be motivating for you to show off the things you have been working on in the last couple of months.
also, it seems that i've been waiting for win export (or at least full screen player) since the beginning of time (actually since i've started using gideros i always felt like - it may have been communicated that way - that it's just a couple of months away, but it always remains like this. i'm even making jokes about this since a while).
so keep up the good work and bring us the new stuff in the next couple of months: )
ozapps: Stretch to fit would suit me fine, with alt-enter to toggle.
Currently stretching shows the window border, menu, etc - in full screen mode that should disappear.

@ar2rsawseen: An event on resolution change would allow the program to decide which scale method to use on the fly. You can already change the scale system programmatically, the event is all that is missing. It could be done now (without the event) by grabbing the device w/h and checking against an old value during the drawing interrupt (event).

btw, I'm not talking about a full blown export to win32 / win rt as I realise that might be some time off, I mean a quick patch to allow full screen toggle of the emulator.
