Compress a string

Is there a good way to compress a string to be saved locally on the device? This one seems good, but spits back a table rather than a string.

@totebo I didn't try this yet (maybe it outputs a table too ) but it seems to be pure lua, could be an alternative.

Cheers @pie! It does indeed return a nice string, and Huffman seems a winner in this case with 30% compression or so. Thanks!
