Hey all! For nearly a year I have been making apps using Gamesalad, but wanted to start making more advanced stuff and Gideros seems like a good pick. I have a question though, I am a college student and looking at doing the educational upgrade. Is that essentially the Indie upgrade at a lower price? Are there any restrictions for the educational? Thanks!

The way Gideros works is that they do *not* restrict anyone and therefore Gideros has always been FREE for everyone. However, they do have the Splash Screen restrictions which you can remove using the paid versions. Currently if you are a student, the community license would work best for you.
Recently there have been a couple of differences between the Free/non-free versions other than that it is the same, no major differences/ features locked out like other frameworks.
