Yes, there is. Not sure if the Apple NDA allows me to talk about it. However what I can safely say is that the simulator is going away from a fixed size to a resizable resolution to accommodate multiple resolutions.
Well then if the rumors are true we would have to put up canvas of the applications depending to @nx or @n2x of course it depending the original measures we were defined (iphone3G or iphone3G 2x) well, more work
