How to build Gideros ?

Hello,
I looked briefly, but couldn't find a guide about how to build Gideros (probably it is there somewhere and I missed it)
Would it be easier to build on linux or on windows ? (I'm thinking linux ?)
I'd like to know I'm able to build everything needed (at least some sort of a baseline) before I get too far.
Can anyone provide some more information about this please, and how to get started ?
I know it's a large sort of open-ended question, but I have to start somewhere

Please don't hesitate to do one for linux, as this will help linux users.
Qt installation: qt-unified-linux-x64-4.2.0-online.run

I don't see how this part lines up with the options on the qt install screen ?
If so check the Qt screen https://wiki.gideros.rocks/index.php/Compiling_Gideros_Luau_Source#Install_QT
On the right side check Archive and Latest release (maybe click Filter) and you should see all the options that gideros needs.
