After finishing my game, I've just do a funny thing.
In my game, I used one sprite to contain everything. I decide to scale it to some ratio such as 2x, 0.5x by using: setScale(rx, ry). As the result, graphics of game are displayed well, however, fps is really nightmare, just about 4-5 fps in iPad2. (it run 60fps without scale)
Did I make something wrong here?

Yep, there're several tilemaps inside. So lucky, setScale is not need for my game. It's just a test.
When I tested in single small tilemap (about 21x16), fps is still acceptable. But it's a big problem with 20x10000
@atilim any chance of a simple rectangular glScissor implementation in next release
