I actually followed the Gideros Wikipedia link from Atilim's sig and made some edits (basically adding a subnote about it being a "kick ass - multiplatform lua development environment for iOS / Android"). A week later when I visited a page on Wikipedia I got a nice little message saying that my edits had been undone as they weren't cited with proper references or inkeeping with some such or other

I'm going to start messing around with it, if that's OK with everyone, to try and get it looking a bit more like the Moai/Corona ones. If we keep it fairly straightforward and technical at first to get it accepted, we can always jazz it up later. Facts and figures go down well. And bamboozle them with science.
@bjg more than OK! Thanks a lot! That was something I wasn't able to achieve - first they said "no notable references" and then "looks like advertising" - I edited it several times with no luck, maybe I'm a bit biased
Apart from creating the details on the Gideros Studio page. You can also add that it has been covered in the book "Learn Lua for iOS Game Development" , so that adds more info to the page.

Please remember never to type anything angry or abusive (Heck knows - it's fricken TEMPTING!), even though the situation is extremely frustrating. The battle can only be won with sense and reason. Please help if you can.

The most recent article in question is about the IDE, not the company.

Arguably, a "Gideros Mobile" page, an "Atilim Cetin" page and a "Deniz Cetin" page also need to be created; but,... one step at a time. %%-

If possible, can we create a page like "Gideros (game development environment)" or something like it instead of "Gideros Studio"? Because with the new web page, we'll change the name of the product as "Gideros" and refer "Gideros Studio" only as IDE.
Maybe creating a new wikipedia page from scratch and providing good links prevents deletion of it?
Did you see my previous Gideros Studio article on Wikipedia? I think you can take it as a base, instead of starting from scratch. It already includes some valuable, and some outdated (but easy-to-update) information.
(Hmm, yeah, I'd edited it down fairly ruthlessly to make the thing factual and objective with as many sources as possible, but it still got bounced as advertorial by some ass who evidently copied the previous judgement without taking the trouble to review it properly and form an objective opinion. Oh well. It probably needs more media coverage before they'll accept it, but it'll happen in time.)
Good evening, delightful, inclusive, friendly, hospitable people.
I just got home from a long day at work and was so happy to read Deniz's comment. That has made my day. Thank you very much, Deniz.
I will definitely not be looking at the 'paedia tonight. I want to relaaaax (not get so agitated that I can't sleep, like I did last night).
@Ar2rsawseen, I just reread my reply to you (above) and it sounds curt. I really hope you didn't take it that way. I'm sorry, man. Please forgive my lack of tact.
@Deniz, thank you very much for the links and for your very kind words. They are really appreciated. Your product is excellent and deserves the recognition it is gaining.
@Atilim, naturally the above praise is for you too. Thank you for exerting so much effort to make a great, integrated application development environment. Gideros is wonderful. I am so glad I found it.
Regarding the name "Gideros": O.K. Understood.
@Gorkem & @BJG, yeah, I saw your article afterwards. It is excellent. WHAT A WASTE for it to be hidden from public view.
Regarding
"copied the previous judgement without taking the trouble to review it properly and form an objective opinion." :
I completely agree. That is exactly what happened again this time.
Oh well. We've all got far more important things to spend our precious time on, so those fools can just go...
...away.
Goodnight, champs.

I'll try to write it again so it conforms wikipedia rules. Any help is welcome.

Both pages are similar in layout and content so to say one looks like an advertisement and the other not is just plain wrong.
Having said that, there are a few errors that I noticed with text missing, spelling and grammar mistakes.
