Hi guys, as Gideros players works so fine on desktop, is possible to have some way to make gideros code run as a standalone executable application on a desktop computer?
@atilim said that it is complicated to make desktop export due to full-screen etc., i just note that i think many of us would find quite useful if there would be a work-around until the desktop export will be available. i mean a way to export to an exe (or .bat via gdrbridge?) and some mac executable that when run starts a gideros player window and the project inside. i don't mind if all my source is exposed, this happens anyway in the apk too.
basically i want to be able to run my app on a desktop without gideros being installed (for beta testing etc. also my friends want to use my app on a desktop and so far i have to tell them sorry that is a feature of far future, which is sad. so i have to force them to install gideros, open my project and run it, which is quite not user-friendly).
worst case, i can also make manually such a minimal 'install' of gideros and the bat file, some info about the necessary files to run the player via gdrbridge would be welcome.
thanks for accepting my post as an answer, let me note that it raises some questions (maybe aimed at the gideros devs) for which i don't know the answer:
how to make a compact beta-testing desktop version of my app running without the need to install gideros?
