How to download, store and use images?

I want to download images after first run and use it in a game. It is not "cache", because it is user-specific files. How can i do that?

@unlying there is a Image Loader example in the Network section in Gideros Studio. It shows how you can download remote image and save it to the documents directory.
After that you can use it as you wish, creating Bitmap object, etc.

Example isn't correct. It uses wrong image link.
It doesn't work throught proxy in Gideros Player, yes?

Although example is correct, the image is missing on the new website. Let me upload the image again. Meanwhile you can test that code with different URL.

I understand that. That's why i'm asking about working with proxy, because i can't download any image now.

Desktop player doesn't try to use proxy. If you're behind a proxy and don't have direct internet access, most probably it gives a connection error.
