My first Arkamania (=Arkanoid + mania) game is a touch remake game (without enemies for the moment) of Arkanoid. The world 1 and world 2 are based on levels of Arkanoid II and world 3 are levels based on Arkanoid I.
Original Arkanoid game is really more difficult because you have to start again from the beginning, I give the change to start playing the next level of a completed one. You need to think about some of this issues (for example global score starting from level 1 is not possible in a mobile remake because users will be bored soon).
There are a goldmine in touch remake games of old games. I guess some old companies will share their assets if we ask them for a mobile remake.
