TextField position is not relative to parent sprite

Hi @all,

the subject pretty much nails it: When I create a Sprite, give it a position and add a TextField as a child to that sprite then the text fields position isn't relative to the sprite ones. It's relative to the stage. I'm wondering why this is so. Can't I position text fields as children?

@seppsepp most probably it is not relative to the stage, but rather TextField has a base line, to make any letter text position on the same line, thus TextField inner coordinates does not start with 0, 0 coordinates, but rather with some negative offset on y axis. So TextField objects are positioned higher then they are expected. Does it sound like it could be true?

Ah shhh.t. Problem was: I created shapes and just drew them with increasing offsets without really changing their position. So it looked like the shapes where placed somewhere, but actually stuck at 0/0. Stupid me =| .
