Want to build a website for games

I want to build a website to intro games. But I don't familiar to building website. So what should I do to build a website like http://www.guava7.com/? Would you guys suggest a host server? Thanks.

I straight coded mine with HTML and CSS. I actually had no HTML or CSS experience before I made mine but I learned CSS with the help of frameworks like Foundation and Twitter Bootstrap.

Boostrap can be found here: http://getbootstrap.com/ and is essentially a library of CSS classes of buttons, sliders, etc. to make an appealing site which you can customize it to your liking to add some personality.

My site http://intoitgames.com/ currently uses Bootstrap.

Actually, it's a wordpress site with a premium theme I purchased.

For simply hosting, you can use services such as bluehost, etc.

I'm using Digital Ocean VPS because besides wordpress hosting I have server code better control and serve our needs (control things from server: ads, ads orders, promotions, redemptions, etc.)

I am planning to use it for my own website when I have time for it.

Has someone used it for his website before?

I use a Google site, it's very easy to set up, no hassle with providers, hosting etc. You edit the website just like a word processor document. Easier than a wiki. And all free! Have a look at my website to see what you think of it. I would strongly recommend this approach.
