How many would need it about as of yesterday?
How many have tried to write a plug-in to incorporate barcode scanning into a Gideros Application?

Wow, this is great, I've actually did not think that 1D codes would be that well read on the camera.
But yes, also interested on how many of you folks would require barcode scannings?

Native support for reading bar codes and QR codes from Gideros will be very useful for many of us. Are there any plan to implement this functionality in Gideros?

Native TextBox and WebView (without plug-ins) I have a couple of business apps that need to be made, that is what is holding it back. The InputBox method is not exactly elegant.


Plus if the

openURL

can be handled inside of Gideros than in plug-ins, then that will also open up doors for a lot of new stuff (I think), like ehere the scan shell is my gideros app where as the scanning app is another app on my device that is called and returns the scanned number.

I would like integrate the barcode scanning functions into my camera. But I have one concern about the virus that may encoded in the barcode images, especially these 2d barcodes.

well. I thought you need to offer some more information for the barcode scanner that you want to buy, like your application environment or some other feature.

It would be good for business applications.
Here a question about business applications too.
Is it possible to generate an invoice or other document in PDF with an application made in Gideros?

I saw an app that is good for this...https://www.waveapps.com/invoice/mobile/

But the problem is that the bills are generated in English and this language here isn't official, so the tax office does not accept this document.
