Compilation script

One of the softwares that I never liked to work with ever was Eclipse, I say was because currently I am in a way compelled to use it when compiling for Android. Upgraded to Lion and it stopped compiling. Can you create a compile script that can be run either a .bat file or a .sh script that will run/make/compile the project and spit out an apk? This will be so much easier, because unless adding plug-ins, there should be no need to open the project and work with it.
