  @GregBUG - I feel your pain.. As a new "new" iPad owner that is the scariest thing I can imagine! Although you could use it as an excuse to upgrade to a "new" iPad ???

  @GregBUG - the fact that it's still working suggests you might be able to get a repair done - I did a similar thing with my daughters new iPod about a week after she had it for Christmas! My local Apple store raped my wallet for £100 for a refurb model but I then found out after I could have got a repair done a LOT cheaper!
