Also, there needs to be a better way to define which files are present in the project. I can't create files within vim and expect it to work in the IDE. I currently have to add all the files with their folder structures manually.
If we can send get messages to it, could add the PLAY LEVEL button into our Level editor saving us HOURS for testing at Alpha and Beta stage like we are now..
Looking forward to next release. I'm currently using Corona, but are looking into Gideros as I'm not very happy about the current development of Corona. Not to mention the almost non existent support. To be able to use Textmate without too much hassle is alpha omega to me though, so I'm happy to read that it's coming in the next release
I code in Sublime Text on primary display, and keep Gideros Studio and Player open on the secondary display, with the Studio's Play/Stop buttons high enough so as not to be obscured by the Player window. Since I reach for the mouse anyway when using the player, I live with the extra clicks.
