Ok I was just looking around at why some plugins (and even Gideros Player itself) appear to stop working on Android versions ICS or newer. I then stumbled across
this article which tells us that the way it handles memory allocation and garbage collection has changed.
This is only a problem if you use JNI with global pointers which I'm not sure Gideros does but it could answer some questions. It may be the answer to problems found
here and
here. I will look into it when I get the chance but not sure when that will be.
