I'm getting an odd glitch when I test on the on-screen software player.
My character jolts from left to right only on some tests, but works fine in xCode.
Is it possible that the player sometimes gets it wrong, or do I need to scrutinize the code more?

Are you talking about the desktop (MacOS) Player vs the iPhone Simulator or are you referring to the native (iOS) Player vs an exported and compiled app?

So I'd better re check code (unless it's a bug)
About 20% of the time, if I press the left or right button, the player 'jumps' around 5 pixels to the left or right. The rest of the time it's fine. Each subsequent left or right press causes a 'jerk' in that direction.
The problem happens on Gideros device player and the Gideros desktop simulator. But after exporting the app to xCode, the problem does not occur.
I've been over the code but can't find the problem. I've uploaded the game here if anyone is curious. :-)

don't get me wrong...
but you can leave your code link here...
just replace tntanimator.lua (source code) with free precompiled version (available from tntengine.com) when you publish sources..
anyway it's not a problem for me... there is no "ultra-secret code" in tntanimator )
ps: when you update Hungry Hector ? is currently preferred game of my son ! but it crash!
