I've been running AVG & Gideros together without any problems for quite a while now.
I would suggest that there may be something not quite right with your machine.
Unless it has only just started happening after an update to AVG in which case it may be a false positive. I run a complete scan on my machine every week (it's scheduled to start at 02:00 on a Saturday morning) and have never seen this.
I've seen the warning before, but added it to the list of safe executables. (It comes from grdaemon I believe) which is probably why it came up with Glider.
I think it must be something to do with glider. I know there's nothing wrong with my machine and since it only appeared when I ran something on glider it's probably just a false positive.
We submitted a report to AVG about this. There is no virus in Glider nor in gdrbridge/gdrdaemon. Glider is code signed so please don't install any unsigned versions of glider (we don't know of any). Please download it from our site :http://www.mydevelopersgames.com/Glider/ and not other places (ie shareware sites)

1-False alarm:D
2-Your computer has been infected with some kind of Virus and this virus starts to infect exe files in your compter:D
Conclusion, pure Gideros files are virus free
