I just made a corker of a mistake, as i learn this language im going back and "re-hashing" some code. but i got over confident and deleted a fair bit of code in a class. after i failed to get that part of the app working properly i thought....
it would have been good if i had a previous version of that !
In past and present employment we have used different systems for it on Unix/Windows (Sccs/source safe/roundtable)...
id recently just used to ZIP the native android files.
Does anyone use this here.. and if so which one ?

Every time I try something significantly more ambitious than I had planned and press Shift-Command-S, and no dialogue box pops up, I have similar feelings.
I'm not a "versions" guy. I'm a "Save As..." guy. (I have been pressing Shift-Command-S religiously for years. It is a crucial function for me.)
Anyway, a few people have suggested version storage systems here:

P.S. "corker"! - Love it! :-bd

i actually went looking for the "Save As" too until i realised that @atilim was going to "add" it )
Ill have to tidy up my windows file structure too. as all the files under the project are only the LUA files. (..Gideros\development\workspace\(project), but i put all my other files under a common\(project)\Files area like texture packs, audio, fonts etc.. in future ill create something like.
Project\Source\(lua files)
Project\Resources
Project\Resources\pack(s)
so it would be easier to setup a source code control.
