Best practices for upgrading Gideros Studio

  I'm on an old version (2012.09.2) of Gideros Studio running on Mac OSX and want to upgrade to the latest. What is the best practice for doing this?
  

  there is nothing like upgrade button inside Gideros so basically only way to upgrade is downloading and installing latest one

  
  I've also made considerable changes to the Gideros iOS Player to support BhWax and other SDKs. I assume I'll have to redo all that work against the latest xcode project?

  most probably yes but still let it to leave for Gideros Team as it might be possible they had not changed any thing in template and you can reuse old one

  @krisis usually it would be enough to replace libgideros.a with a new file from an exported project of new Gideros version, but since you have quite old version (I think which even uses old Sound API) , then most probably changes are more significant than libgideros.a file and you would have to redo BhWax and other plugin install on new player.

  @ar2rawseen - I'm also guessing I'll need to do a full Xcode export of my project too, and can't just do an asset only one on top of an export from an older version?

  @krisis, yes you will have to use the latest xCode project from the Gideros Folder and then add all the extras, the Wax Plug-in, etc to build the new player.
