Hi folks,
in another community I participate in, I stumbled over this information about how to port your Android app to the Playbook.
https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/android/tool/When I see how less games are available on
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/featured/category/1?lang=en&prodType=2then I think there could be a buck or two to be made.
Cheers

I'm now checking the links you provided. The first link crashed my Chrome, and after trying with IE several times, it froze my IE. I'll check again with other modern browsers, but if this is happening to me, many other devs will face the same bad experience again. Unfortunately another negative impression
While I believe RIM still has to go a lot further to fire up their developer ecosystem, I'll try again whether it can be a viable platform for Gideros Studio. However I'm in doubt there as underlying QNX OS for Playbook does not support NDK. @atilim any hints here maybe - what happens if NDK is not supported on QNX.
RIM says that you dont have to be the owner of the app to be ported to BB Playbook. If someone can confirm this using the link above with an example Gideros Studio application, that would be great as I was unsatisfactory.
Thanks for the heads up.
