Swift is wonderful, the new xCode is amazing but what will it do for developers? if you are interested, my thoughts on this "Swiftly Swift" at http://howto.oz-apps.com/2014/06/swiftly-swift.html
look out for some other articles that show migrating your code either ways (basics only) as you cannot access Cocoa or CocoaTouch from Lua (limited access to CocoaTouch via Wax).

I know this question has nothing to do with your article, I'm sorry :P, but considering that you have tried Swift, I gather you've installed Xcode 6 Beta on your iMac or your Macbook, Have you seen something related to the screen resolution of the iPhone 6 in this Xcode?
