      basically i want an image from camera or gallery of the device and then i want to resize that image in 640x960 ( not scaling ).

      Well, it would have been a pleasure to help but if you don't do your homework and go through the steps, giving us as much info as possible, I guess I won't bother spending time searching for an answer too.

      Or I could just say "use Photoshop" but chances are I would be off-topic.

      Maybe other members will be better at reading between the lines.
