  You can use RenderTarget and TextureRegion functions.

  @Aniket I know this goes from the previous thread, but actually, what would be the purpose, do you need it to save to the image, or only to render on screen?
  Because if render on screen, there is a faster solution I can provide, which is filling shape with image and using Matrix to position it inside.

  @ar2rsawseen One of things I need is to save a section of the screen, I was using printscreen and then a crop to do it. Is there a better way?
  I read quite a bit about matrix just now and I don't see how matrix would position it?

  @Aniket if you need it to save to a file, then unfortunately there is no other way than media plugin
  What would be the primary platform (IOS or Android), so that I can try to fix the plugin for it first
