If to make a analysis of the kickstarter campaign; 1-Already %50 percentage achieved and there is still plenty of time. So it seems it is going well. (Actually a little bit higher than %50 ) =D> 2-Unfortunately it seems that it looses it is speed a little bit. We need to think something about this all together. Everyone of us who is supporting with or without money should have to anounce this campaign in social media. (Twitter, facebook, forums, personel blogs etc ) Of course not like a spam, like a professional anouncement. I was thinking also we can write something to linkedin hence there are plenty of related business groups. Any more ideas or comments to add, let's make some brain storming.
Thanks for your support. Yes, it is going up rather slowly at the moment so we should try to increase the pace if possible. I thought about offering another reward about £25 which would include a PDF of the Gideros Reference Guide. Currently this is available on the website but spread over many pages and maybe a nice booklet with index etc would be useful? I could maybe put in some screenshots of Gideros games and even interview (via FB chat) some of you developers about your experience with Gideros and game development history! That might make the book more interesting, what do you think? :-)
@john26 actually there already is a wonderful book by @ar2rsawseen which is a "must read" for those who are starting out with gideros (and maybe to others too). I found it really useful as a reference to understand some things I didn't catch on the forums and official docs. Plus, I believe that there are many best practices of gideros coding well explained there. I am not suggesting that he gives out his work for free, but maybe this could be included as a digital dl on highest "bids" for a fair share to him. Or this could be used (with his permission, of course) as a base to write down a more comprehensive book including code examples and libraries gathered around (this would be another task though.. who would be able to do it?)
@ar2sawseen maybe to draw more attention, the primary goals of this kickstarter project could be clearly explained on the banner (bring your gideros games to almost any device/os!).
P.s. I still have to back the kickstarter project, but I have to wait for the beginning of January to do it
I did think of Arturs' book first of all but we would have to pay the publishers so it's impossible to make a profit. So that's why I was considering making another ebook which is essentially a reference guide. Then we could make it into a kind of souvenir edition with interviews etc. Just an idea for now...!

i hope the raspberry community will be interested as now the funding is a bit stuck and i really hope that it will be successfully kickstarted at the end.
With all the pressure last year for shaders, og es 2.0, etc - all these will come with the Pi stretch goal, I'd have thought that more Gideros normal users would have supported it by now...

Hopefully some of them are lazy like me and keep meaning to support the kickstarter but don't get round to it straight away. I've just rectified that and backed it.
There needs to be a mid price point. - £25 or similar for people who can't quite afford £50 for some reason.

I agree with SinisterSoft, 50gbp is quite a lot and this way people do not have enough incentive to go beyond 10gbp if 50 too much for them. 20-25gbp would be another level mich might be fine for many people, and they should be additionally motivated to pay this much and not just 10.
An early compiled beta of the Android/OSX open GL2 / Pi version (if the stretch is successful) could be for £20 - £25 - this would have to be done before the MS/OSX port anyhow.

I've now added a new £25 reward which includes a PDF copy of the user manual. It basically incorporates all the documentation on the website into a commemorative book which will be a nice souvenir and handy reference.
Thanks guys, we'll try to make it look nice. I was thinking of putting screenshots of Gideros games in the reference guide and maybe including interviews with Gideros devs. (if anyone wants to be interviewed!) This would make it more like a "souvenir". What do you think? If it's a silly idea just let me know! ;-)
I nominate Arturs and Atilim for the first two interviews...
Or anyone who pays > £50 ?

Also would you like to be interviewed @SinisterSoft and @talis? If anyone else is prepared to be interviewed can you post your facebook here? (or PM me if you prefer) We can do the interview using FB chat.

Also, the good news is that because Open GL ES 2.0 is coming with the Pi version, so does shaders = good news for everyone!!!
