RPG and dungeon means blood according to my opinion. The only market that you will loose are kinder garden kids, whose mother and father are downloading the games to their tablets and giving the tablets to pre-school kids. Hence they saw the +18 sign they will not download your game. So if you want to target them i totally agree with totebo . But RPG and dungeon we are talking about here 8-X
For users with their own phones it probably won't matter, but for the "mum, can I play on your phone" market it might. In my experience, you avoid a lot of problems if you can avoid blood and other adult themes. In my opinion you either go all in and make that a selling point, or try to go safe to not restrict the potential target audience. Hard to say what's best, maybe it's time for the Game Developer Gut Feeling (tm) and go with that.
In any case, I can't wait to see more of this already legendary game in the making. If there are play test opportunities here, please let me know! Big fan of the genre, blood or not.
It's looks a lot better with 8 players as the screen scales out (as you get further away from each other) and you see hundreds of monsters.
If you want to playtest then I have an alpha (pre-alpha?) group on GooglePlay. Add me on google play then message me through that and I'll add you in.
I think blood will be in - but if it is then it will arrive as the monsters do - first you see ghosts - so no blood, then sketetons, again no blood, then zombies, I've yet to decide but eitehr red or green blood, then everyone else it's red blood and lots of it! Players will always have blood - but the beginning will be pretty easy so you might not see it until things get a bit 'busy'...

We don't have to be on the internet at the same time. Just add me on Google plus and send me a message so I know its you and I'll add you to the alpha list.

I've sorted out the alpha white problem on the sprites.

By make up a google plus account you don't need to use any of the social features.
The alpha/beta group testing on the Play store is basically linked to the google communities system - you specify which community is allowed to test the app - it's a really good system. To be in a community you need a plus account.

@talis - yes - just add me on Google Plus and send me a message saying who you are here. I'll then add you to the alpha and beta groups and send you the links (one is to ok being a tester, the other is the actual download - the download link can take a few hours to be visible after you have clicked ok to being a tester).

It will also include the virtual joysticks feature - so you can turn the game into a wireless joystick to play against someone on their screen... (it even works from one type of device to another).
The game is not finished yet, I have a lot to do on it - I'll start on it properly around the end of July.

I'm a bit late to the party but this looks incredible. Could really see this on consoles.
A crazy idea but have you looked into the possibility of procedurally generated levels? It's something I'm going to attempt on my next game. I got really hooked on Rogue Legacy which got me interested.
The game looks excellent though. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

btw, using Viewports makes this kind of thing really easy.

Once you have accepted then click on this link:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.sinistersoft.dungeons
Then once you have done that click on this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sinistersoft.dungeons
(it might take a few hours before you can click on the second link)
The second link will let you download it to your device - including Nexus TV, etc...
For multiplayer just plug in a few (up to 8) usb joypads into your android device.
Please let me know what you think of the Google play description, etc
I'll be uploading a new apk soon - once I have weapons enabled.
Here is a screen shot of what it will be like with the new apk.
(There is some white in the alpha on some of the sprites that I need to sort out soon)

I'll keenly wait for it to arrive in playstore

Procedural levels would be ok, but I'm making a level editor in windows for my friends to make levels as it lets them get their name in the game.
I'm going to spend some more time on it this month so expect some progress soon.

Feels like the zoom comes to a halt quite quickly, maybe try an inOutSine instead?
