  this is much confusing apple treat its iphone 6 and 6+ internally for the resoultion of 1136x640 and use 3x images and scaling that down and it is the why they want splash screen of the size 2208x1242 for iphone 6+

  so basically i guess returning 1136x640 is fine so we can calculate dx and dy correctly

  @hgvyas123 I don't see any explicit information saying 1136x640 has a relation with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus. I only see they say 1136x640 with iPhone 5.
