  That long name is just the name that you written on itunesconnect, right?
  
  It is usually used to increase keyword.

  @tkhnoman exactly. @sinistersoft for sure! Don't know how to have the long name and avoid the three dots under the icon.

  You just need to input the long name in itunesconnect, but have short name for icon.

  How do you separate the icon label from the Itunes name? Do you have to have a short package name/App id in Xcode?

  I think what he means is only the name in itunesconnect, like when filling the form.

  Be warned : I've got a few (none gideros) titles on iPhone/iPad.
  They are clamping down hard on that sort of thing saying app title and icon title must match and more importantly not letting you stuff the iTunes connect title with keywords.
  
  It's down to the reviewer, but once you have been done once for it you seem to be always done.
