Sorry for this stupid question. A friend of mine reported:
His device had been jailbroken.
After he downloaded my game via TestFlight, he used a tool to get the ipa file.
Then he copied it to another jailbreak device.
Guess what? The game ran just fine on the other device which was not in my provisioning profile list.
Did I do something wrong?

I guess Apple has similar devices that they use for testing, otherwise how would you explain them being able to run any app on the test devices without UDIDs etc?

Actually, I don't think Apple has any need to have jailbroken devices, they're likely re-signing the app for test so that it runs on those. After all, that's exactly what they do when publishing it to the App Store…
