Is an iDevice with iOS 5.1 compatible with older apps/lower SDK versions?

  We tested with Atilim using the Simulator and no issues so far. @tokyodan is testing on his device, and we are waiting for his comments.
  
  In any case I'll be in Singapore next week and buy the new iPad, and test on the device directly.

  Also, we've installed 5.1 to an iPhone 3GS and haven't met any problems.

  Whilst they are compatible, I think you need to compile with the latest SDK when submitting to Apple. That always used to be the case, not sure if it still is now.
