more details if you are not yet bored:
currently i have no job and decided to develop this app, which i made already for windows in different incarnations, but never made them public. this mobile version took more than a month to reach this stage. i think this app contains some original ideas (do you agree?), so it may be interesting for some people., although it aims at a niche market. anyway, i never seriously thought that i will become rich from it, so that's no problem. still i'm interested if anybody will buy the donate version. whatever.
btw i changed the animating engine from shapes to meshes and it became much faster, although the drawing quality is still far from perfect, perhaps opengl 2.0 will be a solution for this as well.
old stuff from the announcement of the beta version:
i don't have a google play store account so the app is not there sadly. my problem is that coming from slovakia i don't have the rights to upload payed apps whereas i wanted to upload a donate/pro version as well later so that i have the chance to get support from people who like the app. if you know any workaround for this problem, please tell me. i was quite disappointed to learn this when i was already complete with the app (although i have many ideas to develop it further, yet for many reasons - main one is that i cannot upload payed app to play store - i had to stop at this stage). i plan to develop it further though, so any feedback is welcome.
during development i realized that a 'game'-oriented programming enviroment is maybe not what i need to develop such an app yet i wanted to stay cross-platform and i did as3 before, so i still prefer gideros (i did not see any better alternative). i'm waiting for rendertotexture so that i can add saving functionality to the app.
Comments
I would suggest Amazon app store, currently the developer license is free (might be $99 annually later) and you can publish paid apps with them.
any further feedback about the app is welcome from the forum users.
Fragmenter - animated loop machine and IKONOMIKON - the memory game
As for the supported countries, I found this on Amazon.com:
"At this time, we are only able to offer the Amazon Appstore for Android and associated apps to our customers in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and United Kingdom."
Btw for now I think Free + Ad supported apps for Google Play will work better, and its your only choice (and mine). I see most Google Play paid apps perform badly compared to iOS.
i shall do that later yet i hate so much ads that i wanted to rather give the app free and give the opportunity to donate for further development in some way, i.e. buying the paid version (which may also have some extra features).
btw i added the app to amazon marketplace, if it gets accepted i will post a link here for that.

Good work, it's a pretty cool concept, but as you said very niche. I could see people having a good time with it though.

feedback is still welcome.
(btw, i hope that the relative lack of interest is partially due to the fact that it is on amazon and not on google play store - as i explained, i don't want to register on play store until i cannot put a paid app on it)

in the meanwhile if any of you like the app and you can buy via amazon, i would appreciate if some of you could write a review on the amazon page (even for the free app if you don't want to buy it).
thanks for the interest

i also plan to publish it on samsung app store as almost only they make android tablets/phones with pens, so there i might find a more interested set of users.

I have a Kindle and got your app from Amazon but it does not download to my kindle (issues with non US based accounts) just wondering as to why you did not upload it to Google Play which has a wider outreach as compared to Amazon store.

The problem is that I'm in a country that cannot put paid app on Google Play, and i don't want to put ads in the app, so i don't have any way to monetize on Google Play. And although my primary aim (at this stage) is not to make money with it rather to reach people who may like the idea of my app, i want to give them opportunity to fund development (by buying the pro version).
So blame on Google Play. Actually I don't understand why they support one eu country and not support another.
thanks for the feedback btw.

All the apps installed on my Kindle are Side-loaded cannot connect to Kindle since Day 1, about 2 years ago.
The concept is cool, have you thought of putting it on the Apple store?
Do you have a link to the apk on your personal server or dropbox that I can side load and test?

Don't know which came first, but the concept of your app is the engine for the game Blek, which won an Apple Design Award at WWDC. Since I have played with Animator (thanks to you) immediately it reminded me of your app. Trry to use this engine into a game, you have a potential on your hand.

I checked a trailer of Blek, indeed similar engine. nicely presented also.
In fact, i made several earlier versions of fragmenter in the past, one in flash, one in processing. the processing code was based on this nice thing (an example code included in processing): yellowtail - http://www.flong.com/projects/yellowtail/ (there is also an ios version)
yellowtail does exactly something like the stuff happening in blek (repeating your stroke). so that's where they might have been (heavily) inspired from.
update: funny, i just found an article where they say that yellowtail was indeed an inspiration. no wonder.
btw, before i started to do a mobile version in gideros, in earlier versions there was no looping layer in fragmenter, lines only disappeared after a while (or rather the stroke was always of some fixed length) [what i call now 'infinite layer'].

Thanks for the gideros community, in particular @hgy29 for the amazing work done to keep Gideros up-to-date and @rrraptor for the imgui plugin.
EDIT: it is quite unbelievable that i've been working on this for 10 years already, during which Gideros was always there to help me do what i want.
