My Player displays all projects in rotated and with an incorrect resolution/scale. Are there any preference files for the player which I can delete to try and fix my problem?
Hello @tychop do you mean player on your computer or the device? On your computer (or Mac) you can control the player with the provided menu, where you can select both rotation and resolution.
Additionally you can right click the project in Gideros Studio and provide logical dimensions and type of scaling you want to use internally in project.
It happens only on one of my macbooks. The other is fine. Changing the resolution works but it seems it never gets out of "No scaling- top left" and is wrongly rotated. For all my projects and demo's that I download. So the problem must be in one machine. Are there any files I can try to delete?

What version of MacOSX do you run there? Do you run player with admin permissions:

A reboot fixed my issue.
I have no idea as to why, but it's gone now.
(I should reboot more often like in my windows dayz ;-) )
