Volume control converted to Gideros

As an exercise I converted this volume control from Corona to Gideros

Hi all,

This is Adam from insertcode.co.uk.

Thanks to @evs for visiting the site and converting the project to Gideros and pointing you all in the direction of the Blog.

Obviously, I've been using Corona for development, but I've been following the progress of Gideros on the web site and on Twitter, and I must say I'm intrigued by the SDK, it's quick evolution and the features it supports.

I actually downloaded Gideros a month or two ago, with the idea that I'd find some time to play around and experiment with it. However, being so far into development (and happy I must add) with a project in the other said SDK, this 'free' time has yet to surface.

Maybe this conversion of something I coded in one SDK to another will serve as a good refernece/learning tool for myself also.

Anyway, thanks again and I hope that you all keep checking the web site and/or follow my Twitter (iNSERT_CODE) for updates on the free coding and game art tutorials I provide.

Finally, @atilim and @gorkem, do you still have issues connecting to the site? If so, what browser and OS etc are you using so I can troubleshoot?

Still have issues using Linux (FF), Windows (Chrome), iOS (Safari) - tried at least from 2 locations. I believe this is an IP-geolocation issue, rather than OS/client.

Yes, you should be able to just click the icon under my name, I just tested it and it downloaded for me

Ironically the icon didn't show on my desktop but it did on my iPad. Go figure. Thanks, I've got it.
