Hey everyone,
I've been looking into repackaging android games for use on the BlackBerry PlayBook and upcoming os10. It looks very painless, and I'm going to give it a shot with the game I released just recently.
I'll keep people posted on how it turns out!

Did you use Gideros Studio for your game you released?

@glennbjr - I haven't tried repackaging it yet, but I'll give it a go in the next few days and keep everyone updated on how it goes.
I get the 4 following errors which make the apk completely incompatible with PlayBook:
uses-native-code:impact=5:armeabi-v7a Jewel Bust
uses-access-native:impact=5:com.giderosmobile.android.player.AudioDevice
uses-access-native:impact=5:com.giderosmobile.android.player.HTTPManager
uses-access-native:impact=5:com.giderosmobile.android.player.JavaNativeBridge
Huh. Seems like other game engines like libgdx and andengine can't be ported either http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Android-Runtime-Development/Any-plans-for-supporting-Android-Native-Code/m-p/1563397/highlight/true#M1243
In fact I'm having trouble porting even the simplest apk over to PlayBook to load and run on the PlayBook Simulator on my mac.
So it won't port. I don't think hardly any games will be ported over to PlayBook unless BB starts supporting some native code that most games use 8-}
