I'm working on a sequel to Bacteria called 'StarSplash'...
So far nothing there except a new style of graphics - kinda like an old 80's vector game, but with more colour. I've added sme stars since the video was taken, it is called StarSplash after all!
Coder, video game industry veteran (since the '80s, ❤'s assembler), arrested - never convicted hacker (in the '90s), dad of five, he/him (if that even matters!). https://deluxepixel.com

I used bandicam to record loads of in game video (at 1920x1080), then pieced it together with 'Movie Maker', I just wanted something easy to use and didnt want to spend 2 day working out how to use it. Music I brought from shockwave-sound.com
I've looked at shockwave-sound.com, if you have more than 5000 downloads you have to buy a more expensive licence, this is what put me off them.

Your right - but its only about 50% more. Standard license is about $35, and mass market one $75 - depends on the bit of music you choose. In my case if I'm lucky enough to sell 5000 copies, Im happy to pay them another $40
Working on my 3rd app and my first with Gideros. Here are some screenshots!
@Bill5567 Garageband for Mac can be considered amateur but is still a good option for some simple music and effects. Really useful for a high school student like me that knows nothing about sound engineering or complex programs like Adobe Audition.
I'm also very eager for the Graphic 2.0 update that might bring masks to Gideros! I had do make some rather complicated improvisations to give the effect of a mask so I'm very excited for features that would allow masks!
When the company was created, the upper management (ie: not me, that tried to convince them otherwise) thought we could create a large adventure game from the get go...
Well, it kinda worked, a beta game was made and well received, but we disliked the result, also it was very stressing its development, so we switched to do smaller games.
Now we decided (this time with me agreeing) to return to that project. Except I decided to try to do it with Gideros instead of Corona...
We are developing a game named "Beevolution" for 3 months or so... This is our first game and we are at closed beta atm. Our cinematic is on it's way now, i only can attach in-game posters for now. So here they are
Well, it's kinda survival game. The base which is located on the left of the screen is the player's base. The right base is the enemy base. The enemy base spawns bees in order to kill you. Player taps the missiles to kill enemy bees and hive. After you kill the hive, a stronger hive spawns and it goes on like that
