These are exactly kind of things we want to catch and fix before releasing to IOS and starting any promotion on the game. So thank you all for all the comments and reports.
@OzApps ) Actually that page was kind of a prank, some text for a dummy content to use when designing the website, but somehow making it public, we forgot about that. And you know what, based on feedback, people seem to like it
Well there were also some comments about that being unprofessional, but we are who we are and we are doing the job we like our style.
All these texts are exaggerated version of snarky comments about team members, and are probably only partially true. But in this case I'm Slippy and I can be a bit bossy
I just came across Mashballs on aproov but I didn't recognise the company name associated with it so I thought I'd post a link to it here so let you know.
@Scouser it's completely ok. Jenots is our design/developer company, think of as our pseydonym. We use other companies across the globe to have the ability to sell apps, there's not much we can do from our own country. All in all Mashballs is distributed on 10+ app markets,
If you want I can consult with our group and publish some statistics on most downloaded markets etc.
@gorkem not that I know of. The submission process is so inconsistent, starting from different type of information asked, up to graphics in different resolutions. And no one has an API's to do that. Thus unfortunately, there is only a manual process for that.
@ar2rsawseen@jenotscom Maybe you guys can consider making your iOS app free for a few days to boost its visibility. Using promotional tools like appgratis.com and appturbo.it.
@Chang yes it is in our plans, but first we'll release a Christmas version and launch a little Christmas campaign with totally new game elements.
We might make a free day when we'll reach a million mashed balls milestone, but it's all needs to be coordinated with marketing etc, so no dates or promises right now
@Scouser yes it was an Apple appstore, sorry haven't noticed your post before
Mashballs with Christmas pack was submitted to Android markets, unfortunately there will be a delay on IOS market. App was rejected, the reason was that we used graphic with five empty stars for Rate button, and they've perceived it as encouragement to put 5 star rating and rejected for cheating and trying to get false ratings.
Funny thing is that it was accepted before with this graphic
Just wanted to warn you, don't use any amount of stars on your Rate buttons, even empty stars
