I'm not big on development IDEs that don't provide visual designers. I had this issue with Corona (one of the reasons I never went with it). While looking at Corona I stumbled across Level Helper. I see the creator of Level Helper now supports Gideros, which I find awesome and he also has Gideros support in Code Helper as well.
My question is who is using either of these and hows the integration, would you recommended them to a new Gideros user?
I need all the help I can get so what tools do you recommend for a complete newbie?

Vladu Bogdan has some cool tools including the new Code Helper Pro. Level Helper, Sprite Helper and Core Helper Pro are useful for development
Given that Gideros has tilemap functionality in-built and can natively display the TMX files created via Tiled, some developers are using that for creating their tile maps. @HGVyas I think has used Tiles and TMX maps in his new game Viking Run.
There is a list of tools on my site http://LearnLua.oz-apps.com that you could consider for development (though you might know of most of them).

Now is there a program for Mac hat can render out 3d models to PNGS, such as Sprite Works on the PC.
Sprite Works creates images from 3d models and their animation to make creating SpriteSheets easy.
Thanks again for your advice
