For vector style games this would be useful, it would/may allow the first pixel on edges of vector graphics to be easily drawn lighter so that they look like 80's vector screen graphics.
Coder, video game industry veteran (since the '80s, ❤'s assembler), arrested - never convicted hacker (in the '90s), dad of five, he/him (if that even matters!).

  • Is this something that you can accomplish with meshes maybe?
  • I don't think so, If for example you designed a vector font, then the points of a letter, such as 'A' would be highlighted - doing this with meshes wouldn't be as efficient as simply having the first pixel brighter (as it would be on a real vector screen).
