Hi guys firstly i would like to say that Gideros is a breath of fresh air compared to other sdk's, the only thing that is lacking is video tutorials. Im finding it very hard to use.
I cant even open the ebook template that I downloaded from here.
I thought i would have to open the main.lua file in gideros studio but i cant.
Im from an Html css background and now getting into ebook design.
I have looked for 3 days now for tutorials on Gideros , but have yet to find hardly any for the beginner.
Do you guys recommend any video tutorials out there for a newbie.
If you guys did video tutorials it would probably help getting the name out there as a lot of people use youtube for there learning. (I know i do)
. Acouple of screencasts just showing the basic of gideros.
Keep up the good work.

...you need to unzip it then browse for the folder in Gideros Studio and open the project file (eBook.gproj).
I for example find them quite irritating, because every time you need to look up one specific thing, you'll end up jumping in the video searching for it (or watch the whole video again and waste even more valuable time).
For example, me , I find that blog posts with code snippets work the best for me, that's why I'm doing my own blogs and here's one on Gideros.

But for opening project, @BJG right, you need to open Gideros studio, then from menu File ->Open navigate to your project folder and open .gproj file.
Ok thanks for telling me the right file to open.
With regards to video tutorials. the reason i like them is i can visually see exactly what is happening on screen with every code change.
a lot of videos have the code also available at the bottom of the video , so you can copy paste and modify code instead of having to type it, but then again retyping sometimes helps me remember the code better
i have been web designing and graphic designing for years and that the way i like to learn.
To me your sdk is far better than c*rna if it had video tutorials it would make what is a brilliant sdk even better.
Have you got any good links to start with? thanks
Good luck and have fun
Also is there any more news on kwiksher migrating to Gideros?
