Hi guys
We are writing a book for newcomers to help them learn Gideros Studio - with some beloved community members. If you think you can write a few paragraphs / pages or even have your own chapter suggestion in mind, please do not hesitate to drop here a note!
Book will be openly published on the internet.

what stuff would you like to see being covered inside the guide?
Cheers

(maybe how to write your own Softjoystick extension???) for Gideros. Saving Scores and Other Stuff in Databases is also an interesting point.

UI widgets, menus, settings, etc., making ReST calls to web services such as S3, dealing with network settings (including proxy).
Just a few days and I'll do that. Thanks for your patience.

Erratum - "EventDispathcher" instead of "EventDispatcher" in several places.
Suggestion, just in case you've finished that bit - I always have to look up string formatting because I have a terrible memory, so a couple of examples would be great there.
Thanks!
Currently we have 5 authors working on the book. It'll basically be openly published on the internet, hopefully smoothing the learning curve for Gideros Studio. We covered slightly more than one third of the chapters till now (wrote 65 pages, expecting 150 or so).
There are still some unallocated chapters, like:
- Hardware and OS
- Extend your apps with plugins
- Real world physics
- URLLoader & matrix operations
etc.
Next week there'll be a blog post about it, hoping to find more contributors.
