  you're right. let us play with its css to position better. Now I'm disabling it and after positioning, I'll enable it again.

  Yeah, I think the longer bar would work better if it was inserted (centred horizontally) above the actual thread name (between body & content tags).

  i think it looks weird floating there, out of design.
  also it overlaps partially the 'sign out' sign for me.
  there is no way to put it in the right column just before or after the start new discussion sign?

  i just made a random search and after seeing how the results appear (and it is a good way to show) now i understand why it is floating.
  still in itself looks a bit strange, i don't know what would be a good solution though.

  @ar2rsawseen one more thing: when I click on searching result as a logged user, then it opens a new window with not logged state..

  Unfortunately that is a JavaScript part of Google search script. The preferred way is to overlay results, but if it's not possible, script handles is as best as it can

  looks better. maybe if i click outside of the search result overlay window then it should automatically hide, if that's possible.

  also the area surronding the search bar should be a bit shorter on the right to fit the end of the right column.
