Wow, that's a pretty big thing!
How could you license Doraemon?
What were the steps involved? One of the teams I work with has been going through many (many) loops to license a similar character in Japan.
in gameplay, i think there needs to be more platforms otherwise the game is not played further as it is difficult, have a look at Mega jump or doodle jump.

Btw, please notice that iOS version is currently has a bug when using Flashlight or Doramini gadget, I submitted an update but it will take several days to be live.
Again, thank you

I don't think that's enough to protect your business in front of a lawyer (you don't get money but you do get traffic and attention for your other apps //which has a lot of value + take people away from official Doraemon apps// and use Intellectual Property without consent //which is another prejudice to the copyright holders// ) but I really hope you'll never have to face such situation!
So you said "yet" which means you contacted Shogakukan? I'm interested to know if and how you'll be able to make the partnership work, that would be a great success in my opinion.
the alternative is to make a different graphic of your own and call it "Morae Don" that should hep you keep your app and hopefully fend off legalities. (This is not legal advice, for that please consult a lawyer)

I remember my free iOS app performing well with around 3000 downloads in its first week but Android was terrible... I actually have a free Android game with 45k downloads but it took about 6 months during which the game got 3k downloads before the game got any legitimate market traction.
How much marketing did you for your app because I find it EXTREMELY difficult to have a good launch with an android app.
Again congrats on your game!

I would like to congratulate you for releasing an app on the store, but I really can't endorse the fact of releasing a product without any kind of consent from the copyright holder. (Not that you care about my opinion haha ).
I know that a lot of people are doing it (did a "Doraemon jump" on google, but also looked at all the anime wallpaper apps) but I can hardly find a way to justify it. That simply shouldn't be allowed, but Google/Apple doesn't seem to care / or didn't find the right formula yet.
Being myself a character designer, I find the current state on the App Store a bit depressing to be honest.
I wish you will succeed in the app store, but with a reskin of that source code instead
