  That is an incredibly clever idea although whether it would actually work in practise I don't know - be great if it did.

  If only every component could be like Lego and work on 1x1, 1x2, 2x2 2x4 etc sized blocks. The components require a lot more in terms of cabling, etc. Had opened up the old MBP 15" (the logic board had died) to get the HDD and RAM, the screen and other things work perfectly well, but cannot be used because of the minitiarised connections and components attached to each and every little thing in the MBP. This was a 2008 mode, the newer ones are even more compact and complex.
  
  The idea is wonderful but not workable, even breadboards are not as easy to use

  You might of seen this already.great toy to have.
  I am not sure how functional it can be.
  Celluon Magic Cube (Projection Keyboard).
  It would be really cool ,if you could have the full keyboard or you could change the colors.
  And for me it is great since I love to work in the dark,but too expensive.
